Vienna Rooftop Terasse Apartment

Super location with small bakeries, grocery stores nearby, in a very silent house. The apartment is very unique, full of nice design, spacious space and with a rooftop terrace. A note on that: the terrace pictures are AI, there are comfy chairs and a big table but not the grill or the giant outdoor sofa or the greenery. The bedroom was very comfortable, the kitchen equipped.

However, for my biggest disappointment, it was not indicated on the property description that this is not really a classic rental but an actual home where the tenant actually lives, so prepare for personal items on the shelves, in the bathroom, etc. They stayed in a different apartment during the stay, only shared entry room. Which is OK, but for those who like privacy is not the best. This also means that there is not much space to put your stuff, so that is not very convenient. What I disliked was the generic lack of cleanliness and that I was using someone's personal bedding, towels, etc and I had issues with their state. Especially the 2 sofas in the living room, I was very uncomfortable sleeping there because of the state of the sofa and smell coming from the blanket, pillows. Basic things that you would expect from a place you stay at are not there, despite the huge other advantages. So the apartment has a great atmosphere in general, but only stay here if you don't mind being next to the owner and feeling like you are staying at a far relative's lived-in home. Although the tenant frequently asked if everything was OK, I don't think these are quick fixes.
