Gold Center Funchal 401

The apartment was located right in the very centre of funchal with a 5 minute walk down to the sea and really close to everything you would possibly need in the city, especially as we did not hire a car. The balcony was incredibly generous, semi-private and had a really good view. The apartment was clean, spacious, comfortable and modern with good air-con and amenities. Despite being on a main street, there was very minimal noise from the road and no disturbances whatsoever.

My only issue was that there wasn’t a plug socket near to each side of the bed, only one side, so my phone had to go at the other end of the room on the floor to be charged. Not really a massive problem at all, just something slightly inconvenient.

I absolutely loved this place. I will stay here again if I return. The location is absolutely ideal, the space is clean and beautiful, the view from the balcony blew me away. I got to go out on the patio each morning and listen to the beautiful water flowing down from the levadas, admire floral and greenery, and literally have my jaw drop at the expansive view. I was happy to see there was an elevator - cool surprise. Checkin was super easy. Apartment was spacious, and the host just could not have been better. I was hiking all day after I checked out and he was so accommodating and really took the stress out of my trip. I kind of wish I stayed here longer! Thank you SOOOO much for making my trip outstanding.
