Beautiful location near the seaside. Having air conditioning was really nice and essential for the stay. Beautiful terrace area. Appreciated having laundry facilities.

It was a 9 rather than a 10 because compared to other properties on booking.com that received 10s, the facilities/decor are not as new or luxurious.

We had a wonderful stay at this chalet in Scopello. Mauro was incredibly communicative from the start, even sending detailed videos to help guide us to the property, which made finding it so much easier. He went out of his way to make us feel welcome, and we arrived to find a lovely surprise in the fridge — six bottles of water and two bottles of complimentary wine, such a thoughtful touch. The chalet itself is clean and cosy, and the location is unbeatable — literally a stone's throw from the beach. There's also loads of outdoor space, though we only stayed one night so didn't get to make use of the outdoor facilities ourselves. It felt cosy and homely, and we enjoyed every minute of our stay.

The only small areas for improvement would be the double bed mattress and the couch, both of which could do with updating. That said, this didn't take away from a genuinely lovelyt experience, and we'd happily return.
