The property sits within large grounds with walking space and is located close to local amenities and the North York Moors. The Calf House is a neat retreat in Lingdale. The Neighborhood:
The small village of Lingdale lies on the northern edge of the North York Moors National Park, 4 miles from the former Spa town of Saltburn-by-the-Sea. Surrounded by open countryside, Lingdale has a local pub and shops for everday needs. Saltburn has excellent amenities such as good restaurants, tea rooms, individual shops and art galleries. There are also good sandy beaches with a splendid historic pier. Lingdale village is a great base for visiting the pretty coastal villages of Staithes and Runswick Bay, which lie on the Heritage Coast, renowned for its Jurassic fossil hunting trips. From Lingdale there is also easy access to the seaside towns of Whitby and Scarborough, and of course, the stunning scenery of the North York Moors.
