This charming, thatched barn conversion on a working Devon farm is the perfect retreat for families or friends seeking a relaxing holiday in the heart of the South Hams. In a scenic spot just a mile outside Malborough, an idyllic village in the heart of South Devon’s National Landscape, this property offers the perfect balance of tranquillity and convenience. The village is home to pubs and farm shops, ideal for some holiday indulgence. Keen walkers can join the footpath from the doorstep to the village of Hope Cove (2 miles), where two secluded sandy beaches await sunbathing, a quiet paddle, or exploring rock pools.

For a seaside adventure, head to nearby Salcombe (3.5 miles) and jump aboard an estuary cruise to enjoy panoramic coastal views and spot various birdlife and seals. One must-see beach is the golden sands at South Milton (3.5 miles), while Woodlands Family Theme Park is a lovely family day away from the coast (13.5 miles). There are some spectacular coastal views along the South West Coast Path. Head to Bolberry Down (1 mile), which has paths to suit all abilities.
