Outside there is a courtyard with gravelled area with seating, along with off-road parking for one car. Within 2.8 miles, you will find a shop, and within 7.2 miles, a pub. Please note, this property welcomes three well-behaved dogs, but is non-smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, and towels are all included in the rent. Highchair, travel cot and stairgate available on request. Bring your loved ones for a refreshing escape to Hen Blaid. Note: Check-in from 4pm, check-out by 10am. Note: Property is set on a working farm, with the owner’s also living on-site. Note: Internal adjoining doors to neighbouring property will be locked unless cottages are booked together.



The Neighborhood:

This pleasant village lies in the beautiful Tanat Valley at the foot of the Berwyn Mountains, only 4 miles from one of the Seven Wonders of Wales - the magnificent Pistyll Rhaeadr (240 ft high waterfall). Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant was the location for the successful film, The Englishman Who Went Up A Hill But Came Down A Mountain, and more recently the film Nativity 2 starring David Tennant. The village boasts two general stores, a newsagent, a Post Office, a butchers, three pubs, a café, a fish and chip shop, and an Indian takeaway. It is surrounded by stunning countryside, providing walking trails for all abilities including the Berwyn Ridge Walk and a trail to the summit of the waterfall. Discover Lakes Vyrnwy and Bala, the National Trust Powis and Chirk Castles, medieval Shrewsbury and Chester and the wonderful Snowdonia National Park.
