Howard Cottage in North Littleton, sleeps four guests in two bedrooms.
The Space:
Howard Cottage consists of a kitchen with electric oven, induction hob, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, air fryer, a sitting room with Smart TV, gas fire, and a conservatory with dining seating for six, and Smart TV. The bedrooms consist of two king-size, one with an en-suite. There is a shower room with walk-in shower, basin, and WC. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, and towels are included. Travel cot available. Outside, there is an enclosed rear garden with patio, lawn, furniture, barbecue, and off-road parking for three cars (park sympathetically as driveway is shared). Sorry, no smoking. Shop 1.3 miles, pub 0.1 miles. Visit Howard Cottage for your next adventure. Note: Check-in from 4 pm, check-out by 10 am. Note: There is a Good Housekeeping Bond of 200GBP. Note: There is a step up to the front of the property, but a handrail is in place. . 2 well-behaved pets welcome (more by arrangement). The Neighborhood:
The ancient village of South Littleton lies in the Vale of Evesham, between Evesham and Bideford-upon-Avon and surrounded by unspoilt Worcestershire countryside. Dating back to Roman times, the village has a well-stocked farm shop, Post Office and fish and chip shop as well as a recreation ground and bowling and tennis club. Many walks can be enjoyed from the village, with the long-distant footpaths of Shakespeare's Avon Way and Millennium Way running close by. The nearby village of Bretforton boasts its own community-run village shop and a 600-year old inn, owned by the National Trust, which hosts many music, folk and food and drink festivals throughout the year. The quintessential English village of Broadway, five miles away, has individual shops and boutiques, art galleries, restaurants and hotels including the world-renowned Lygon Arms, which has been popular for centuries and now offers spa facilities, enjoyed at pre-arranged times. The surrounding countryside is famous for its fruit-growing and market gardening, and South Littleton is a great base for exploring the many unspoilt Cotswold towns and villages, along with Cheltenham Spa, with its Gold Cup Festival and Worcester, with its magnificent cathedral. The birthplace of William Shakespeare, Stratford-upon-Avon, is just a short drive away and offers many historic buildings, a theatre and the pretty River Avon. The property was lovely and had everything needed for all ages of the family and including the dogs too.
The welcome package/basket was a nice surprise and might be an idea to say about this as not everywhere you stay include these, it’s a very helpful start to your break.
The local pub/restaurant does accommodate dogs in the bar area but if you want to have a meal without them the food is very nice and I’m gluten free/wheat intolerant so they are very accommodating and staff are very friendly, need to book a table as they get busy.
Thank you Keri for you hospitality, hopefully we will see you again.
