The Neighborhood:

Situated on the beautiful Lake District Peninsula, the scattered hamlet of Pennington is set in an area of gentle hills and unspoiled countryside. The start of the Haematite and Cumbrian Way footpaths are close by, as are the twin pubs at Great Urswick Tarn – locally renowned for their fine ales and good food. Nearby Ulverston is an ancient market town, which still holds a streetmarket every Thursday and Saturday.
