Cottage Val is a stone built, converted barn with a high-quality finish throughout. The property has two double bedrooms, both of which have king-size beds and en-suite bathrooms. There is a fitted kitchen with a ceramic hob, dining table and chairs plus bar stools. The open-plan, spacious living room has a pitched roof, feature light fitting, cosy woodburning stove and Freeview TV. Outside, you have direct access to the disused railway line, known as Cinder Track, plus there's ample off-road parking. Cottage Val is a stylish and comfortable property to relax and unwind in, whilst being in close proximity to both the National Park and coast, making it the perfect base to explore the varying and beautiful landscape Yorkshire has to offer.

Ravenscar is a historic coastal village in the North York Moors National Park. Midway between the fishing town of Whitby and the Spa town of Scarborough, it offers the best of both worlds. From Ravenscar itself, a network of footpaths and bridleways can be enjoyed. A superb base from which to explore the region.

Lovely property, beautifully renovated to a high standard. Well situated for attractions and interesting walks on the doorstep. Warm and cosy. We were very happy with our Xmas stay.
