The cottage features a fully equipped kitchen with all essential appliances and cookware. Guests can enjoy a covered front porch as well as a spacious outdoor deck overlooking a large yard, ideal for relaxing or picnics. A grill is available for outdoor cooking.

The area is surrounded by well-known hiking trails, making it a great location for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. The cottage does not have air conditioning, but you’ll find portable fans in the closet for your comfort on warmer days. A helpful tip: keeping the windows closed during the day can actually help keep the cottage cooler. Since the cottage sits on the north side and stays mostly shaded throughout the day, it usually remains quite comfortable even during warmer weather.

This lovely little cabin in the woods exceeded our expectations. It was very comfortable, cozy, and well equipped for our needs. The host contacted us to check in and make sure that we had everything we needed and was very responsive to our requests. We hope to return to this beautifully crafted place again someday.

This cabin had everything we needed for a one-night pit stop up to Bar Harbor. We especially liked the rural location, the tea kettle, and stove for heat. We were able to sign into our Netflix and watch a thriller on a dark, rainy night, gathered in the living room area.
We did not like that there were several large flies inside of the cabin. We killed a few that were bothering us, but even after that my nephew made a cup of tea at night and one of the flies flew into his tea cup!
