This beautiful, stone-built cottage for two nestles beside the River Esk in the peaceful village of Egton Bridge on the North York Moors. Surrounded by the splendid landscapes and quaint villages of the national park, and with the Yorkshire coast only 8 miles away, this is the perfect base from which to enjoy both a countryside and coastal holiday. Walkers will delight in the wealth of trails from the front door; follow the banks of the river and join the long-distance Coast to Coast Path to see the best of the region’s natural beauty. On your return from rural rambles, Egton Bridge welcomes you with two traditional pubs. For days by the sea, the popular coastal towns and villages of Sandsend, Whitby, and Robin Hood’s Bay are all within 12.5 miles, offering endless opportunities for fish and chips on the sand, vibrant promenades and piers, and memorable views of the North Sea.


Before stepping inside this delightful cottage, take a moment to appreciate its peaceful surroundings and the sounds of the river that meanders past. The property dates back to the 1850s, and as you walk inside, its rich history lives on in the form of exposed ceiling beams, twisting cottage stairs and cosy corners – all of which are complemented by modern, homely comforts.
