The 'Capital of the Wolds', Driffield, is 9 miles away, where you will find a rich Saxon history, captivating scenery and many walking routes leading out from its centre. From here, you can begin many East Yorkshire adventures. Keen ramblers will love exploring The Wold Rangers Way, a challenging circular route with lush greenery, while beachgoers will want to laze upon the stunning sands of Bridlington (7.5 miles).
