About this house rental
The space
Restored and thoughtfully updated, Rock Hall retains its original colonial character — wide plank floors, center-hall layout, and over two centuries of charm — while offering modern comfort throughout. Sleeps 10 across 3 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms, with additional space for air mattresses for larger groups. Full kitchen, central heat and air, and comfortable outdoor seating round out everything you need for a seamless stay.
Your private dock puts you directly on Rock Hall Creek, a tributary of the Little Wicomico River with open Chesapeake Bay access. Launch the included kayaks, drop a crab pot, fish off the dock, or simply sit and watch the creek come alive at sunrise. Bring your own boat — Smith Point Marina is just down the road with public launch access for $10, putting you minutes from some of the finest fishing and crabbing on the entire Chesapeake.
3.5 acres of waterfront grounds with mature trees and creek views
Private dock with kayaks included
Outdoor seating and fire pit — perfect for watching the sunset behind the house
Full kitchen and central heat/AC
Quiet, private setting minutes from Reedville
Reedville is one of Virginia's best-kept secrets — a genuine waterman's village on the Northern Neck with great seafood, marinas, and world-class fishing. Smith Point is right down the street, offering some of the best Spanish mackerel and bluefish action on the Bay from late spring through fall.
Guest access
Guests have full access to the home, 3.5 acres of waterfront grounds, private dock, kayaks, fire pit, and outdoor seating. The private boat on the property is not available for guest use and is strictly off-limits — please do not board or access the vessel. Kayaks, canoe and life-jackets are provided for all your on-the-water adventures.
