The area is rich in Airborne history. Explore the SKDC Airborne Trail and nearby Caythorpe’s “Soldiers from the Sky” heritage (1.5 miles). The region proudly marks its Airborne links each year during Arnhem Weekend, recently celebrating its 80th anniversary. Fulbeck Manor (1.5 miles) is a beautiful estate that hosts regular craft and food fairs. Lincoln (18 miles) is home to a cathedral and castle, as well as shops and riverside restaurants. With Fulbeck Craft Centre and Cafe (1 mile), Newark (13 miles), Easton Walled Gardens (19 miles), Belton House (8 miles), and Grimsthorpe Castle (25 miles) all close by, this cottage offers the perfect mix of rural retreat and local discovery


Arrive via a peaceful half mile track to this lovingly restored countryside hideaway a cosy, character‑filled cottage with 360° panoramic views across an award-winning conservation farm. Step through the porch/boot room into a bright, well‑equipped kitchen where the original bread oven provides a unique feature. A small breakfast table makes the perfect spot for morning coffee or simple, relaxed suppers. From here, move into the stylish dining room, decorated with artwork from local creators at the nearby Fulbeck Craft Centre. Beyond this is the snug living room with a wood burner, plush corner sofa, armchair, TV, and patio doors opening directly onto the garden and sweeping countryside views. A downstairs WC completes the ground floor. Upstairs are three welcoming bedrooms: a king‑size room with far‑reaching views all the way to Lincoln Cathedral and the Derbyshire Dales, a cosy double, and a twin that’s ideal for friends or younger guests. A newly fitted family bathroom awaits for a relaxing rinse after a day of exploring.


Outside, enjoy a front patio with a bench, a private rear garden, and an outdoor dining area overlooking open fields.
