About this cottage rental

Perfect for families or groups of friends with two dogs in tow, this split-level townhouse in the popular seaside village of Saundersfoot is the perfect base for a coastal getaway. As well as stunning beaches, shops, and range of cafes, pubs and restaurants, guests have the local harbour right on their doorstep which offers fishing and sightseeing trips for all to enjoy. For a day on the beach, take a walk to Coppet Hall Beach (0.5 miles), through the old coal mining tunnels to Wisemans Bridge (1.5 miles) and further on to Amroth (3.5 miles). Tenby town (3 miles) with its pastel-coloured houses along the harbour front is idyllic, and the beaches are great too. From the harbour you can take a trip across the sea to Caldey Island, home of the Cistercian monks.


The ground floor of this spacious home boasts an open-plan living, dining and kitchen area that floods with natural light and offers patio doors which lead to a balcony with sea views. This sociable room is stylishly decorated and has plenty of seating for relaxing and hosting memorable family gatherings. The kitchen is bright and airy with room for cooking your favourite meals and a small breakfast bar for morning cuppas or chatting to the chef. A cloakroom with a WC is conveniently located on this floor as well. A staircase leads to the first floor with three bedrooms, one double which shares a Jack and Jill bathroom, a twin room with a bunk bed, and a single room. A further bathroom is located on this floor. The second floor features the master double bedroom with sea views and a velux balcony and an en-suite bathroom. The property also boasts a lower level which is home to a second open-plan living and kitchen area with a fridge and icebox, a double bedroom and a separate shower room.


Outside, guests can enjoy a private, enclosed garden where the dogs and little ones can play safely, plus garden furniture that allows for memorable al fresco dinners. Finally, accessed from the patio doors in the first living area, is a charming balcony with snippets of sea views and more outdoor furniture so you can enjoy morning cuppas under the sun, or evening tipples under the stars.
