Whitewashed stone walls and bay windows lend the property a traditional feel, while the quality of the fixtures and fittings shows that it has been lovingly updated to offer contemporary accommodation. Step into the lounge/kitchen/diner on the ground floor – a welcoming space with a wood burner tucked into one corner, ready to keep you snug and warm as you cook, dine and unwind. After a restful night, head upstairs to the first floor, where you’ll find two double bedrooms, each one cosy and inviting with characterful decor and cushy, comfortable beds. A stylish shower room completes this floor. Outside, a small walled courtyard invites you to sip a drink while watching the world go by.
Set off to explore fabulous North Cornwall each day, whether lacing up your hiking boots or jumping on your bike to discover the South West Coast Path and the surrounding countryside. Padstow is home to several by-the-sea attractions and numerous quality eateries, and you only have to venture a short distance along the coast to reach the beautiful beach at St George’s Cove (1 mile). You can cross the river via the passenger ferry to reach the village of Rock (1.5 miles), also home to a great beach, or take a boat trip from the harbour to get a little closer to Cornwall’s magnificent sea life.
