About this cottage rental

Stay in Porthcurno and prepare to leave the car behind as everything you’ll desire to fill your days is within easy reach of this light-filled apartment. Converted from a heritage building that served as the village’s Cable & Wireless training school for over 100 years, this apartment is filled with unique charm and has been lovingly updated to feature a pleasing maritime aesthetic. With three bedrooms and three bathrooms all laid out across a single floor (please note there are 2 flights of steps to access the property), the apartment lends itself perfectly to any group of six and will tick an array of boxes for friends or family. It’s even dog-friendly allowing one canine companion to holiday beside you.


Step into the second-floor apartment with freshly painted white walls and calming tones of blue throughout. Large windows let natural light flood into the lounge, a space furnished with plenty of soft seating and a TV for entertainment-packed nights in. You can even glimpse the sea from the window right here. Step through an archway into the adjacent kitchen/diner, an utterly modern room for preparing meals and packing up picnics for the beach. Down the hallway, you’ll find three bedrooms, a double and a twin boasting en-suite bathrooms and a final twin which is served by a family bathroom.


Bring tennis rackets, surfing equipment and all your beach essentials to make the most of your time in Porthcurno. Pass on by the tennis courts (less than 100 metres) as you venture down to the beach (0.5 miles), a renowned gem on the Cornish coast with immaculate white-sand shores. From here make the most of direct access to the South West Coast Path, perhaps following the waymarked route along to Land’s End (4 miles) to take in one of West Cornwall’s most famous attractions.
