About this cottage rental

Bring together friends and family at this large and elegant holiday home for a trip to remember beside Orford Ness Nature Reserve. This gorgeous home is perfect for year-round holidays and is ideal for celebrating together. The entire space is inspired by its coastal location and designed with an upside-down layout to maximize the stunning far-reaching views. This property offers a unique base with 5 acres of beautiful gardens and a heated swimming pool for your enjoyment. Boasting a stunning beach, boat trips, and a variety of wildlife to spot, a day spent here promises seaside fun, all accessible within a mile of your doorstep.


On the first floor, the main open-plan living area features sumptuous sofas where you can sprawl out to read a book or watch a film. Bi-fold doors lead directly to the decking area and balcony, extending the living space outdoors. At the rear of the property, you'll find a modern kitchen and a spacious dining table seating six, perfect for enjoying meals together, whether it's a home-cooked feast or a local takeaway.Downstairs on the ground floor, there’s a boot room with ample storage and a walk-in shower room. Four bedrooms are also located on this floor, three of which have private en-suites. Two of these en-suite bedrooms feature tasteful king-size beds, while the third offers a small double and a single bed, making it a great option for families. Additionally, there is another king-size bedroom and a charming family bathroom.The final bedroom, located on the second floor, offers ultimate privacy with a super king-size bed, private balcony, dressing room, and en-suite shower room. Surrounding the holiday home are 5 acres of grounds with plenty to explore, including a pond and a fantastic, heated swimming pool.


Whilst there is plenty on offer at the property itself, you’ll not be short on things to do for a day out from Orford. The town is home to a small selection of great eateries, including two pubs and a local bakery where you can shop for tasty treats to pack into a picnic for your adventures for the days ahead. Head into Rendlesham Forest (7 miles) for a beautiful walk through the ancient woodland, or visit Havergate Island Nature Reserve (2 miles) to spend a day spotting fascinating flora, fauna and wildlife in the protected area.
