This beautiful, detached home set down a private drive is perfect for families or friends seeking a relaxing get-together in a peaceful retreat with panoramic views. Less than a mile away is Holmfirth, where you can discover cobbled streets and historic stone cottages and dine out in one of the delicious eateries. Sleeping eight guests, this splendid two-storey property boasts a stylish design and bright, spacious rooms with relaxing light-coloured hues, perfect for spending time together.

Chic and spacious, the contemporary kitchen boasts a large island with bar stools – perfect for sociable gatherings – as well as all the appliances needed to cook up a storm, plus a Smart TV for entertainment. For celebratory meals, take a seat at the long dining table where there’s also a piano nearby for an after-dinner tune! Unwind in the lounge, complete with plush seating and a further Smart TV. Underfloor heating throughout the lower floor ensures all-year comfort; for warmer days, open the patio doors to let in a cool breeze. There are four bedrooms on the upper level: three king-size (one with en-suite facilities) and one double en-suite with access to the rear patio. Outside, experience the benefits of the large, enclosed garden complete with a patio that’s perfect for al fresco dining while admiring the scenic views. There is private off-street parking for four cars.

There are plenty of local attractions to discover to suit all ages. Visit the historic village of Marsden (7 miles), which is surrounded on three sides by moorland and famous for the Standedge Tunnel – the UK’s longest, highest and deepest canal tunnel. Spend a family day out at Yorkshire Sculpture Park (13 miles), where you can take in the beautiful artwork along easy countryside trails. A little further away is the Peak District, with Bamford Edge and the Hope Valley, all within 25 miles.
