With views over The Solent, the pretty village of Bembridge (4 miles) is popular for its picturesque harbour, delightful beaches and a bustling centre. Outdoor enthusiasts should head to nearby National Trust St Helens Duver (2 miles), a sandy spit rich in wildlife and local history. For a traditional seaside day out, Ryde (3 miles) beckons with its long seafront and bustling town centre. The Mermaid Bar (0.6 miles) offers a taste of the Islands' locally distilled gin.
