9 Solent Landing

The location was fabulous

Location was great right on a quiet beach and quiet location. All you could need to for a stay with lots of room even for six adults.

Some of of the appliances could do with a update, microwave, toaster and smaller TV.

The location was really good and the views were lovely, good free parking.

The instructions weren't as clear as they could have been. We arrived in pouring rain and initially entered the wrong part of the site as it wasn't clear from the instructions that entrance was through the second gate or that the front door was through the garage door. The numbers on the code boxes were unclear and there was no light so I had to try to find the instructions on my phone, whilst using it as a torch in the rain, so not a great start. Although there were lights fitted in the garage we were unable to find a switch to turn them on - which was really difficult when we returned after dark. It also wasn't clear how to open and close the garage door from the inside. I was travelling with my dad and his sister in their 70's and 80's, and my young great-niece, and it had not been clear on the property description how many stairs there were at this property, if it mentioned it was a Town House in the description I missed it. There is a large step into the front door, and 7 steps up to the kitchen and each floor. This was a bit difficult for those with restricted mobility, although they made it. Neither the shower or the bath had grab handles or non-slip mat or grip making them a bit difficult for all of us to use or exit with confidence. Although the accommodation has sleeping for 6 people, there was only seating in the living room for 4, although there was space in the top living space for a further 2 - not ideal if you want to spend time together. I slept in the top bedroom on the second night and it rained heavily - due to the roof window it was impossible to sleep through the noise. Unfortunately we found the beds uncomfortable, they felt to us that they were well used and sunken - as a result we didn't stay for the 3rd night we had booked.

Amazing location . Right on the beach , beautiful views from the windows. very comfortable beds , lovely fresh smelling linen . Clean and tidy .

A big pricey - but I guess that’s because it’s slept 6 and the location .
