About this cottage rental
Dating back to the 18th century, this characterful barn conversion has been charmingly updated to make a fantastic holiday home for families, friends and couples looking for a spacious hideaway in the pretty village of Binham. With beautiful timber beams, stable-style doors, exposed brickwork and a cosy wood burner, the property makes a wonderful getaway for up to six guests. Set in a tranquil spot at the end of a lane leading from the village green, this stylishly furnished property is perfect for walkers, cyclists and nature lovers discovering the quaint villages, deep woodlands and gorgeous beaches of this glorious part of Norfolk.
The cottage offers a charming main lounge/diner with beamed ceiling, a Smart TV, a delightful wood burner and a sociable dining table, making a lovely space for everyone to get together and unwind after a great day. There’s also an additional snug with a TV, seating and arched window, providing a relaxing space to curl up and read a book in peace. The country-style kitchen features a range of useful equipment and a breakfast table. Upstairs, there’s a refreshing family bathroom and three characterful bedrooms, all with low ceilings: a cheery double, a delightful twin and a lovely en-suite king-size room. Outside, the generous private garden is walled on two sides, with an array of trees, hedges and shrubs, with a large lawn and plenty of outdoor furniture, offering a lovely spot to sit back and laze on a summer afternoon.
Binham is home to the ruins of a medieval priory, and is just a few miles from the coast. From Morston Quay (4 miles) you can take a boat trip out to see the grey seal colony off Blakeney Point. Also nearby are Hindringham Hall Gardens, Baconsthorpe Castle and Holt Country Park, all within 11 miles.
