About this cottage rental

An inviting conversion, this tranquil holiday haven makes an idyllic base for anyone wishing to get close to nature. Nestled in glorious surroundings, close to Dunsop Bridge in Lancashire, the two-bedroom, rustic conversion sleeps four guests. With an abundance of exciting walks accessible from the doorstep, this is the perfect base from which to discover the wonder of the Forest of Bowland National Landscape. Experienced walkers might also wish to venture 18 miles to Pendle Hill, famed as the home of the Pendle Witches and for the 1612 witch trials, to experience its steady climb and panoramic views from the top. Those with children may be keen to plan an afternoon out at the Bowland Wild Boar Park, 6.5 miles away. Here, the youngsters can meet the animals and enjoy park rides and indoor and outdoor play areas. Explore Clitheroe, 12 miles away, with its castle, during your stay too.

One of a handful of exclusive holiday homes in this picturesque location, this delightful conversion offers exceptional comfort. It has been creatively designed to provide you with everything you are likely to require during your stay in Lancashire. It maximises the views by offering a superb reverse-level layout, with its bedrooms downstairs and living space on the first floor. From the hallway, where there is a desk for anyone hoping to catch up on a little work during their stay, and there is access to both the double bedroom and the super-king-size, which has an en-suite shower room. The super-king-size room features zip-and-link beds that can also be arranged as a twin, if discussed at booking, and patio doors to the garden. Also downstairs is a family shower room. Climb the stairs to emerge in the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, with its vaulted ceiling. Open the door to the Juliet balcony during the spring and summer months to allow in a fresh breeze and better survey your beautiful surroundings. The kitchen space, with its cream cabinets and wood work surfaces, has been fitted out with everything you need to help you cater for your party during your stay. After dinner, light the wood burner, then settle down in its cosy warmth to play a lively family game or watch a film on the Smart TV.

Enjoy the serenity of the picturesque setting from the garden. Here you can grill supper on the BBQ, dine under the stars and warm yourselves beside a roaring fire pit. Take in the colourful views over the wildflower garden and towards the rolling hills as you relax in the hot tub. There is private, off-road parking here for two cars.
