About this cottage rental
If you're staying in Llanddeusant and you're an outdoor enthusiast, you're in for something special. Head over to Llyn y Fan Fach (5.5 miles), where a still lake is wrapped in legend and follow the trail along the ridge to Picws Du for sweeping views. For cycling, the loop around Usk Reservoir is perfect and offers 7 miles of quiet tarmac with mountain backdrops. Within 20 miles, you've also got Carreg Cennen Castle, which is known for its romantic setting and dominates the skyline for miles. By night, your quaint holiday home is a special spot that sits right in the Brecon Beacons Dark Sky Reserve. Once the sun drops, you'll get incredible stargazing, with the Milky Way stretching over the Black Mountain range. Perfect for those glasses of bubbles in the garden.
This charming shepherd's hut is tucked away from the rest of the world and boasts gorgeous rolling fields, which are to be admired as you make your way up the front door. Leave your boots on the decking, and as you enter inside, you'll discover cleverly designed interiors, with a full kitchen to the right and a deep, pillowy bed to the back. The open-plan living area provides space for relaxing on the sofa after frosty walks in the country and is best enjoyed with a steaming hot cup of tea. The barstools are perfect for romantic meals, whipped up in the well-equipped kitchen area. A peaceful night's rest is on the cards when you climb into the double bed, and when you wake, a stylish modern shower room offers an energising start to the day.
Soak away tired muscles in your private hot tub, which is perfect for gazing upon starry nights in this remarkable Dark Sky Reserve. There is also an area with a table and chairs for dining, a BBQ and loungers for basking in the early rays. There is private parking for two cars.
