The National Trust’s splendid 17th-century Tredegar House, 4 miles away, could also entice those interested in the past. The exquisite orchard, orangery and cedar gardens here are a sight to behold. Guests with children may also wish to take them to Cefn Mably Farm Park, 8 miles away.
