In a great location just off the A55, this superb lodge nevertheless has a very private feel, tucked on a quiet smallholding with just one other holiday property on the site. For families and couples, it makes a great base for exploring North Wales. Just 3 miles away, the historic town of Holywell is renowned for its Holy Well, which pilgrims have visited for more than 1,300 years, and has a selection of shops, pubs and places to eat. Golfers can play a round at the local course, while the coast is easily accessible: you can build sandcastles at Talacre, Prestatyn and Rhyl, all within only 12 miles. Visit the castle, the shops and the eateries in Denbigh, 11.5 miles, or Ruthin, 17.5 miles, walk in the Clwydian Range, less than 10 miles, or have some mountain-biking thrills at Oneplanet Adventure, just 23 miles.

The lodge’s three bedrooms are also equipped with Smart TVs, and their high-quality bed linens will entice you into a good night’s sleep. Choose from a king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower, and two compact twins which share a family bathroom.
The outdoor space is the piece de resistance of this excellent holiday escape. The large veranda has dining furniture for six where you can sit and enjoy the wonderful rural views – perhaps with a delicious meal cooked on the gas BBQ, which is positioned on the gravelled area below. Also on the veranda is a hot tub big enough for six people, again with gorgeous views, offering the chance for long, restorative soaks after an exciting day of adventures. Any children in the group will love visiting the cute alpacas in the adjacent fields. You’ll also have ample private parking available for 4 cars.
