About this cottage rental
This charming property set over two floors is perfect for a family or a group of friends looking for a peaceful getaway within easy reach of the beautiful Cornish coast. Situated in a tranquil spot surrounded by countryside in the peaceful hamlet of Trew, the property is two miles from pretty Rinsey Cove with its sandy beach.
Jobs Cottage is a beautiful cottage retaining original features, including exposed stone fireplaces. The charm blends splendidly with the everyday comforts of contemporary living to make this property feel welcoming. The property is thoughtfully decorated with attention to detail in the artwork and furnishings throughout. On the ground floor is a spacious living room with a Smart TV, comfortable sofas, and a large inglenook with a wood burner to cosy around on chillier evenings. There is also access to the gardens. The kitchen and dining areas are also lovely social spaces. The kitchen, which features a small internal step, has everything you need to make meal preparation a breeze, while the dining area has a wood burner to keep things snug if you linger over dinner. Upstairs there are a king-size bedroom and a twin bedroom both 1 step up from the staircase , and a bathroom. Head outside to enjoy the large, enclosed gardens. There is also a patio terrace with furniture and a BBQ, perfect for al fresco dining.
For a day at the beach with buckets and spades or water sports in mind, head to the long sandy beach at nearby Praa Sands (3 miles) or Hendra Beach (2.5 miles). The historic fishing harbour of Porthleven (2.5 miles) is worth visiting and offers a sandy beach. The Cornish Seal Sanctuary (10 miles) has everything you need to know about the sea life and Trebah Garden (14 miles) offers a lovely walk around a subtropical botanical garden that showcases what makes the climate here so special.
