While the kids sprawl on the sofa watching a film, you can throw together dinner in the stylish, well-equipped kitchen, all while chatting across the island as something sizzles on the hob. Gather around the table for a board game or just to admire the picturesque views across the fields. On the ground floor, steal some quiet time in the reading room for a few pages of your book or catch up on emails at the desk if you're mixing work and play. When it's time to turn in, choose between the comfortable king-size room or a cheerful twin. Both sport classic overhead beam, and share a family bathroom.
