About this cabin rental
Welcome to "West View Cabins". We offer four (4) cabins tucked together on Otsego Lake, directly on Trail 7.
Cabin 2 is your lakeside launchpad for long days on the water and slow evenings under the northern Michigan sky. This simple two‑bedroom, one‑bath cabin keeps things easy and relaxed, with a stand‑up shower and an open kitchen‑and‑living area. Both bedrooms have full‑size bunk beds. The cabin has a view of the woods but the common area overlooks the lake.
Stay connected with Wi-Fi and relax with essentials like air conditioning, individual grill, and picnic table. Just bring beach towels!
Resort community amenities include your own boat slip at the dock, trailer parking, two large firepits overlooking the lake, kayaks, bikes, lawn games, grassy commons area, shallow sandy bottom swimming area, floats and water games, and picnic tables.
*Note: Docks are available approximately Memorial Weekend to Labor Day Weekend, weather permitting.
**There are 25 wood steps with a handrail down to the waterfront.
***Always Improving: To ensure the highest quality stay for our guests, we are currently in the process of refreshing our interiors. While the layout and amenities remain as described, some furniture and decor items may differ from the listing photos due to these recent upgrades.
****Pets: One dog under 50# per cabin, with a $50/night pet fee. Please check the box when making the reservation that says, "Traveling with pets" and then message us with the color/description of your furry friend. You must declare your pet prior to arrival for insurance and liability requirements.
*****As required by Vrbo policy, this is a camera location disclosure. There are three (3) exterior cameras onsite to monitor parking areas (one on the garage and two on Cabin 4 exterior).
The garage and storage room next to the garage are not included with the vacation rental and are not accessible to guests.

Was a great visit overall. Host was quick to respond and cabin was cozy and comfortable. Will definitely return in the future. I have ppl I already gave cards and info to for next travel in the Gaylord area.

The lake is great. Lots to do. The room was clean and the hosts were present and attentive
