Interaction with guests: Check-in is self-service via smart lock, so you can settle in at your own pace. We're reachable throughout your stay for anything you need — from extra firewood and recommendations for local pubs, restaurants and walks, to arranging optional extras such as catering, breakfast hampers or grocery pre-stocking. For group bookings we're happy to discuss agendas, AV requirements and any additional support in advance so everything is ready when you arrive.
Other details to note: Up to 2 well-behaved dogs welcome by arrangement (no pets in the hot tubs). Please shower before using the hot tubs. Events are welcome, subject to agreement — we're happy to chat through your plans. Commercial photography and filming subject to owner agreement. Waste sorting on-site: green bin for general rubbish, brown bin for recycling, black and orange caddy for food waste, and a green tray for paper and card. Tollgate Farm Kent is set in the village of Staplehurst, Kent (TN17 3NX).
Please note: this property is a peaceful countryside retreat and is not suitable for stag/hen parties or other party-style group bookings. There is a family home nearby, and we ask that guests act considerately and respectfully in light of this.
Quiet hours: please keep noise to a minimum after 11pm. Before then, music and general noise should be kept at a low, considerate level out of respect for neighbours.
