About this apartment rental

Centrally located, 5 minutes from Liverpool Street this apartment is on the third floor (with lift) of a Dutch tabacco warehouse with original features and wooden floors. Great transport links to all main London attractions and walking distance to local markets, restaurants, cafes, river Thames, garden squares and nearby viewing towers. Live like a local and discover this amazing, vibrant area on the doorstep of the city of London. Enjoy breakfast on the terrace or relax with a glass of wine after a day sightseeing. The apartment building is dated around 1900 and was converted in 1997 retaining some original features of the warehouse and incorporating large windows and wooden floors and spacious interiors with a fully fitted kitchen and bathroom. The local area is steeped in history, some of the alleyways which now host amazing restaurants and bars are known to have been the stamping ground of the famous Jack The Ripper. Some of the period houses in the area were once home to the Huguenot silk weavers. Close by is Spitalfields Market which houses clothing, accessories and many great eating places (anything from stylish restaurant to pizza vans, whatever your mood or budget). Brick Lane is also nearby for street art, curry houses, vintage clothing and the famous 24 hour beigel shop. There are many quiet squares to sit and enjoy including Exchange Square which has a cafe and live sport screening in the summer months and Finsbury Circus Gardens, for a higher viewpoint, visit The Garden at 120. The Elder Street conservation area is now home to some fantastic new restaurants. For a taste of Italy, the nearby food store, restaurant, cafe, and casual eating centre selling and providing everything Italian called Eataly is located next to Liverpool Street Station. For fresh flowers, plants and a lovely atmosphere, the Sunday market at Columbia Road is a must.
Further afield is St Paul's Cathedral and The Guild Hall which houses some fantastic free exhibitions.
