Located less than 1 mile from the heart of Whitby, enjoy a classic seaside escape at this family home. The town's picturesque harbour is lined with colourful cottages and is bustling with fishing boats. Stroll along the sandy beaches or build sandcastles on the shore. A visit to Whitby Abbey (2 miles) is an absolute must. Perched atop dramatic cliffs, this iconic site offers breathtaking views of the coastline and an intriguing history that ties the town to Bram Stoker's Dracula. As you wander through the cobbled streets of the old town, you'll discover independent shops, galleries, and a wide range of seafood restaurants where you can enjoy the fresh, local catch. Visit the Captain Cook Memorial Museum to learn about Whitby's connection to the famous explorer, or take to the water yourself on a boat trip from the harbour. For a change of scenery, set out to discover the dramatic landscapes of the North York Moors National Park that surrounds the town.
Enter via a welcoming hallway that leads you into the heart of the house – the open-plan kitchen and lounge. Gather with loved ones at the breakfast bar for relaxed meals prepared in the fully equipped kitchen. The comfortable corner sofa in the lounge area is ideal for unwinding after a day of adventure, and the Smart TV ensures you can catch up on your favourite shows.
