In the peaceful village of Sandsend you''ll find a sandy beach, rugged cliffs and a choice of places to eat, including a fine-dining restaurant. Iconic Whitby is just 3 miles away, a great day out in which a must-do is climbing the 199 steps to see the ruined abbey. Further trips could include Staithes, Runswick Bay and Robin Hood''s Bay, all within 8 miles.
