Set in a peaceful hamlet 1 mile from the UK's smallest city, this Pembrokeshire retreat is perfectly placed for sea-loving families and countryside wanderers alike. You’ll be surrounded by rolling fields and open skies, with beautiful views stretching toward the rugged coastline. The historic city of St Davids offers an irresistible mix of culture, cuisine and independent shops, and you’ll have jaw-dropping beaches and gorgeous coastal paths within 1 or 2 miles.
This elegant Welsh home has a stone exterior, painted white for a quintessential appearance. Step inside to be greeted by a warm and welcoming open-plan living space, with comfy sofas and a warming wood burner for cosy evenings in by the Smart TV. A sleek kitchen takes up one corner while a wooden dining table sets you up for leisurely evening meals. A wooden staircase takes you up to a mezzanine-style balcony leading onto an en-suite king-size bedroom. The second bedroom is ideal for families, with another king-size bed and two singles. A handy shower room completes the setup. Outside, the enclosed rear decking area, accessible through patio doors from the living area, is wonderful for sipping wine or tucking into al fresco dinners as the sun dips behind the hills.
You’ll find plenty to do in the vicinity – Whitesands Beach (3 miles) is ideal for sandcastle sessions, swimming or exploring the rock pools. A little further along, the Blue Lagoon in Abereiddy (3.5 miles) offers dramatic scenery and a tranquil spot for wild swimming. Head to the harbour at St Justinians (2 miles) to visit the new lifeboat station or set off on a thrilling boat trip around Ramsey Island – keep your eyes peeled for seals and dolphins!
