About this house rental
We love this house for its rare combination of historic character and modern comfort. Built in 1888, the home retains its original hardwood floors, exposed brick, and soaring ceilings - details you just can't replicate. The loft is our favorite room - from the east window you can spot the Capitol dome glowing at night, and from the west it feels like looking out from a castle tower. Wind down in the clawfoot soaking tub, challenge your crew in the game room, or gather around the long dining table under the original timber ceiling. This house has soul.
The whole home is yours to enjoy. Here's how it's laid out:
- 1st floor: Kitchen, living room with TV, dining room, game room, half bathroom
- 2nd floor: 2 bedrooms (full and queen size beds), living room with TV, shower room (no toilet)
- 3rd floor: An open loft/bedroom (queen and twin beds), lounge area, a work desk, bathroom with a clawfoot tub (no shower)
- Backyard: Patio with seating and a garden
- Basement: Laundry
The house requires 2 flights of stairs to access all the bedrooms.
Gig-speed Wifi throughout - perfect for streaming, gaming or remote work.
Getting around couldn't be easier from this house - the Light Rail is a 2 block walk, connecting you to MSP airport, Allianz Field, US Bank Stadium, The University of Minnesota and downtown Minneapolis. The Minnesota State Capitol is 4 blocks away, Grand Casino Arena is 5 minutes by car, and University Ave's legendary pho and noodle restaurants are right around the corner.
