About this cottage rental
Inside feels like being outside at this beach house. The living room area is a light-filled dazzle of views, with a huge south facing window overlooking the sea it will make you smile. Smart sofas and a wood-burner, lots of games and books and a TV for wild weather days. Or head down to watch the unfolding drama of the sea on the shore. Just a stroll and you are right there on the beach. The dining table has the same huge and mesmerising views and can cater for the masses.
Should you remain indoors there's tons of space. A snug with large TV has kid's base written all over it. Just off the snug, the kitchen is a simple set up but there's everything you need and with a handy utility room off it. There you'll find a haven to help with all things messy, wet and salty.
Four ground floor bedrooms offer plenty of attention given to the little details. Calm and warm – to the front are two bedrooms - one fantastically chic super king bedroom with views to the sea and a door to the terrace - you won't draw the blinds in this bedroom. Sip tea in bed, admire the views, feel lucky to be here and tip into a morning shower in the handy ensuite bathroom. The other a bright and breezy nautically themed twin room with amazing views. Plus, a handy family bathroom opposite with bath, and a vast shower.
Two cosy double bedrooms are at the back with charming art, books and panelling. One compact double with deep colours and the other a cheery patterned twin which can be joined to form a super king on request. The bathroom closest is a handy shower room - cute and sparkling. A large entrance foyer is the place for sandy buckets and beach kit. A pea-green cloakroom WC and sink is a pleasant surprise just off the foyer.
There's tons of space for kayaks and wetsuits. The wild sea swimming is heavenly.
Outside there is a picnic bench for al fresco dining. Or there's the sun trap at the front for sunset drinks. Or simply to gaze. And gaze…
You won't want to leave honestly.
