Welcome to our “Strand500 Vacation Apartment” at “Haus Barkhausenstraße 24a” on Langeoog. As the name suggests, the fine-sand beach is just 500 meters away. It’s only a short walk to the boardwalk. Here, you can relax, take a deep breath, and feel right at home!
The “Strand500 Vacation Rental,” with 55 m² of space, accommodates up to four people and features an open-concept living area with an integrated kitchen, a separate bedroom, and a modern bathroom with a shower. Enjoy the crisp North Sea air and warm sunshine on the furnished south-facing balcony—perfect for taking in the beautiful surroundings, reading a good book, or winding down at the end of the day.
The bright living area welcomes you with a very friendly atmosphere. Large windows let in plenty of natural light, comfortable furniture creates a cozy ambiance, and nautical accessories add that distinctive North Sea flair. The sofa area with a TV offers a place to watch TV and relax after a day at the beach or a hike around the island. A selection of board games provides additional entertainment. Free Wi-Fi is available for browsing on your smartphone; a telephone is also provided.
An open kitchen is available for convenient self-catering—equipped with a glass-ceramic stove, microwave, and refrigerator with freezer compartment, as well as various small appliances. This makes it quick and easy to prepare snacks for your outing or delicious meals. A dining table offers space for chatting, enjoying a vacation breakfast, or having dinner together.
The separate bedroom is furnished with a comfortable double bed (180 x 200 cm) and a spacious closet. For two additional guests, the couch in the living room can be converted into a double bed (180 x 200 cm).
The modern, naturally lit bathroom with a walk-in shower, toilet, sink with mirror, as well as a hair dryer and cosmetic mirror, provides additional comfort.
For longer stays, additional amenities such as a vacuum cleaner, a clothes drying rack, and a shared washer and dryer are available. A closet is also provided so you can conveniently store your clothes and travel essentials.
A crib and high chair are available in this family-friendly accommodation for our younger guests.

At “Haus Barkhausenstraße 24a,” you’ll enjoy a vacation in a very beautiful location. You’ll be staying very close to the town center with its small shops, restaurants, and cafés (approx. 200 m). It’s also only about 200 m to the spa center. The main beach with its fine sand is just a few minutes’ walk away (about 500 m). When you arrive on the island, it’s just a short walk from the train station—or you can take one of the horse-drawn carriages waiting there—and you’ll soon reach Barkhausenstraße 24a.
