About this house rental
With a floor area of approximately 120 m², this fully renovated family home combines traditional Périgord architecture with modern comforts. It is equipped with reversible air conditioning and offers an exceptional view of the Vézère Valley.
It can accommodate up to 8 people.
🏠 THE HOUSE:
On the ground floor, you’ll find a large, bright living area (featuring a fully equipped open kitchen, a dining area with direct access to a terrace offering exceptional views of the Vézère Valley, and a cozy living room with a large stone fireplace and wood-burning stove), a double bedroom with a 160 cm bed, a bathroom, a laundry area and nursery for babies, and a separate toilet.
Upstairs, there is a double bedroom with a 160 cm bed, a double bedroom with a 140 cm bed, a large walk-through bedroom with two 90 cm beds and a TV area, a bathroom, and a separate toilet. The upstairs bedrooms are equipped with reversible air conditioning.
Outside, you’ll enjoy a very large garden and two terraces, one of which is covered (ideal during the summer heat), with an exceptional view of the Vézère Valley. Two bories, traditional dry-stone huts, are located on the property (it’s up to you to find them!).
A barbecue, as well as tennis rackets, Breton palais, and molky games are available for guests.
Baby essentials can be provided upon request: a crib, high chair, freestanding baby bath, and changing pad.

The house stands alone on a hillside, 200 meters from the center of the village of Sergeac, in a quiet, natural setting—a forest clearing overlooking walnut groves and truffle fields.
In the immediate vicinity of the house:
• Natural swimming spot in the Vézère River (unsupervised) 300 m away,
• Public multi-sport field with a freely accessible tennis court 200 m away,
• Public pétanque court 200 m away,
• Trailheads for marked hiking trails 50 m away.
📍 LOCATION:
The house is located in the Dordogne, in the Templar village of Sergeac, in the heart of the Périgord Noir, between Montignac-Lascaux (7 km), Les Eyzies (13 km), and Sarlat (15 km). An ideal location for exploring the major sites of the Périgord Noir, the Dordogne Valley, and the Vézère.
The village of Saint-Léon-sur-Vézère, listed among the Most Beautiful Villages of France, is 6 km away (by road) and can also be reached on foot in 40 minutes via a beautiful hiking trail that winds past prehistoric sites and the Vézère River.
