Authentic Périgourdine, spacious and charming, with flower-filled garden

My family and I had a wonderful week at La Maison aux Trois Collines. The property was exactly as it was described and as it appeared in the photographs - spotlessly clean, well-equipped and beautifully maintained. We were three families comprising 5 adults, four teenagers and one under 10. Both children and adults loved the space, especially the pool surrounded by lavender and overlooking the breathtaking Périgord countryside. We ate dinner every night on the terrace, played multiple games of ping pong and relaxed in the spacious grounds. The property is about 15 minutes’ drive from the nearest shops and facilities, but we very much appreciated the fact that the house was far from any main roads, as it was at the end of a long impasse, meaning that there was no traffic at all to bother us. Charlotte, the owner, was very helpful in the information she gave us about accessing the house and the instructions about maintenance of the property were clear - all in French but I’m presuming that there is an English version for any non-French speakers. We adored our stay and are looking at booking the property again next year as it suited our needs perfectly and was well located to reach numerous famous sights in the region including Lascaux IV, Sarlat-La-Canéda and the Château de Castelnaud. Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable.La maison est très bien située proche des lieux touristiques (gouffre de Proumeyssac,grottes du roc de cazelle ,la roque st Christophe,maison forte de Reignac,château de Castelnaud,la Roque Gageac,les jardins de Marqueyssac,Sarlat,Domme) Entre 15’à 30’ en voiture. Une grande piscine avec une vue magnifique,un bel espace jardin arboré Une maison typique vaste et très bien équipée, Très bonne literie Lieu très calme on ne risque pas de déranger les voisins Semaine du 21 au 28 mai Nous étions 9 dont quatre couples
