Guests enjoy a cool retreat with heating and AC to keep the temperature just right. The cabin includes a clean bathroom and thoughtful touches like an iron and hair dryer for convenience. Step inside to a tranquil setting where you can unwind after a day of exploring. This awesome cabin offers a cozy, laid-back vibe that makes every stay feel like a mini getaway. We look forward to welcoming you to our place.5 min walk to the beach, hundreds of miles of trails right out the back door. Enjoy the hot tub or the outside patio or the fire pit. Maybe walk six minutes to the arena.Take a pontoon to the lodge.And get a bite to eat. so much fun to have.
Thousands of acres of public land to hunt right out the back door. you can hunt the 4 acres and move on to public land that connects to the 4 acres. very good deer hunting if you enjoy that sport.

This darling home was the perfect getaway from our busy lives! We spent two nights and the weather wasn’t the greatest, but we were able to sit out on the beautiful deck and enjoy nature and the relaxing hot tub! The house was very clean and tastefully decorated. We look forward to the next time we are able to come and visit!

Getting here can be tough. The drive way is only rough because the house sits on a hill. In the day light it's not scary. A few things were missing in the kitchen but because Mike (the owner) was very kind, we didn't mind picking up a couple of the things. Like a set of tongs, a baking sheet and kitchen towels that were probably just missed. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub, mattress and pillows! Trying to find them so I can have them at home! If you have a fire leave the fan on to help the smoke go up the chimney. There's a small dinner in town that has great food and prices. If we have the opportunity to stay in the area again this place will be the first on our list! To counter things being accidentally taken: have a book with a list of the things in the kitchen and bath. They must check that everything is on the list or get charged for items missing. Info about the state park and Glouster. Like restaurants, grocery, beach, boat ramps and sites to see. Just a suggestion.

The small cabin/house is a great spot for relaxing and enjoying the hot tub. Burr Oak Lake beach is a short drive, but not a walk. There is a Lakeview Trail access less than 1/2 mile up the road, and this trail takes you to the lake (approx. 1 mile). Definitely would recommend the place.

We had a great stay! House was clean, just as described and pictured. The hot tub was a nice addition, and the perfect size for the 3 of us. I would definitely recommend staying here. Communication with owner was easy with quick responses.
