    Great location near the main park and temples, lots of places to relax and converse in the hotel, great breakfast, good people, interesting design, free drinks and snacks, comfortable rooms for talking. Bed a bit small but good.

    Perfect location, lovely room and facilities!! I just found the hotel to big. To many tourists in one place. Apart from that, I can't fault it.

    After a few days in busy Kyoto , Nara was a relaxing change. Setre was in a great location, the rooms were beautiful and the free afternoon drinks and snacks a lovely touch . We originally booked only one night but loved it so much that decided to stay two !! The view of the lake and deer from our room made the experience, next level .As did the hotels free range chickens wandering around the garden ,the foot spa dome and even bathroom products. Overall, an excellent, well thought out eco hotel. Thank you to the staff also , they were very helpful .

    Would not stay anywhere else in Nara. Setre Naramachi is a beautiful, comfortable, serene spot to settle in. The rooms are beautiful with a small balcony, sitting area and comfortable bed. The lounge area is a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the quiet and complimentary drinks. I had the set course dinner; beautifully prepared and presented and delicious.
