Moulin de Lantouy

Gorgeous place to spend a few days - the location is beautiful with the gardens next to the river, so many stars in the evening! The hosts were really responsive and helpful and the place is only a few minutes down the road from a lovely little town which had everything you need. We were upgraded to a larger room which was lovely - the facilities were good for cooking your own meals. The shower is a little older but has good pressure and great after a day hiking in the local area. There's a good parking area across from the accommodation, would recommend a little torch for if you're returning late to navigate the path.

There were some creatures that appeared in the room - we removed a couple of larger spiders from the room when returning back in the evenings - but this not unexpected from being so rural and in an old building, so not sure what can be done but just a warning.

Such a wonderful stay at the Moulin de Lantouy! The grounds on which the apartments are is very secluded, private and right in the middle of nature with a private river to swim in. Appartement was authentic, clean, have everything you need and very cool during the September heatwave. Booked for 5 nights, but decided to extend our stay with 2 more nights. Favorite part was sitting in our private garden at night with a millions stars above our heads. But be aware of those sneaky mosquitos!

L'emplacement est exceptionnel ! En bordure d'une rivière à son embouchure dans le Lot, avec possibilité de baignade, et vraiment au milieu de la nature, le jardin regorge d'oiseaux et animaux en tout genre. Le coin dans le Lot est sympa. La communication avec Émilie était plutôt facile.

Notre maison n'était pas très propre à notre arrivée et avec des toiles d'araignées occupées de beaux specimens juste à l'entrée de la chambre à hauteur de visage (qui malheureusement n'était pas très actives pour chasser les moustiques !). Notre terrasse était dans les moins sympas même si agréable, donnant au milieu des autres gîtes et donc pas très intime, mais certaines autres donnaient sur la rivière et étaient plus tranquilles. Mais le cadre est tellement magique que ces petits inconvénients passent ! Dans quelques années avec les rénovations que font les propriétaires au fur et à mesure, nul doute que ce lieu sera un vrai petit paradis !
