Friendly owner, fast check-in, 3 min to a beach

But we were disappointed with our stay. We booked and paid in advance for one apartment, but just one day before check-in, it was changed to a different apartment due to some issue. We were not informed about the change at all — if I hadn’t asked, “Is this a different apartment?”, we would have simply found out upon arrival. Owner told that we had received an “nice upgrade” to an apartment with a sea view. However, the new apartment was approximately half the size of the one we had originally booked, without compensation for the price difference. The apartment itself was worn-out and not in very good condition. The “sea view” turned out to be a view through an archway — basically a narrow passage between restaurants. The location is also noisy, as the apartment is situated on a street full of clubs and restaurants.
