Generation 6

Here’s a draft review: We stayed at Generation6 with multiple families traveling together and it was fantastic for that. The adjoining suites were perfect, we could all be close together but still have our own space when we needed it, which made a huge difference with young kids and grandparents in the mix. The welcome was so thoughtful. They left us a snack basket, wine, and water waiting in the room, which was exactly what we needed after a long flight. Staff was there to greet us and made check in smooth and easy from the moment we arrived. The location blew away our expectations. We were just steps from the Acropolis and Plaka, and the restaurant downstairs, Fran, was so good we ended up eating there more than once. The rooms themselves were beautifully decorated and spotless. Having a washer in the room was a lifesaver for our multi leg trip. The beds and blankets were comfortable, the A/C kept up easily even in the heat, and the layout gave our family plenty of room to hang out together comfortably. It’s a beautiful historic building that’s been renovated thoughtfully, it feels modern and comfortable while still keeping its character. We’d absolutely stay here again and would recommend it to any family or group visiting Athens.

Location is perfect within walking distance of main attractions. Loads of nice restaurants near by and very lively street.

We did not have windows to the street.
