Bene Pertiwi Villa

Gede and his family were amazing hosts! So friendly and accommodating and welcoming and hospitable. Beautiful venue and super quiet area. 35 minute bike ride into Ubud centre and 15 minutes to the nearest Indomaret. There are activities like rafting, ATV and Bali swing very closeby.

Ich habe 2 Monate in der wunderschönen Villa gewohnt. Ich wurde in die Familie integriert. Alle waren immer sehr herzlichen und freundlich und haben mich bei allen Angelegenheiten unterstützt. 2 mal habe ich an einer Zeremonie im Tempel teilgenommen, da ich den Hinduismus sehr befürworte. Insgesamt hatte ich mich schnell eingelebt und auch sehr wohl gefühlt. In der Nähe ein Warung mit leckerem Essen. Fußläufig zu erreichen gibt es Adventur Touren mit Quads, Swings und die Natur, der Jungle ist wirklich sehr schön. Die Villa ist neu, duftet noch nach frischem Holz, sehr angenehm. Insgesamt hatte ich einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt und kann es von Herzen empfehlen.

Da ich doch auch gerne und öfter direkt nach Ubud bin, war es etwas schwierig über Gojek oder Grab ein Scooter Taxi oder Taxi zu bekommen, da es doch eine Fahrt von 30 bis 45 MInuten war, je nachdem wo man in Ubud hin will. Gede, der Sohn der Familie hat mich dann freundlicher Weise mit seinem Scooter gefahren. Das hat mich etwas in der Flexibilität eingeschränkt, da mich spontan zu verabreden manchmal nicht möglich war. Ich habe es mir nicht selbst zugetraut mit einem Scooter in Ubud, bei diesem Verkehr zu fahren.

A truly enchanting place, just a few minutes from the center of Ubud, yet away from the hustle and bustle, surrounded by nature. The staff are extremely kind, always helpful, and incredibly welcoming, making you feel at home right away. The atmosphere is warm and familiar, perfect for those who want to experience Bali’s culture and nature in an authentic way. Highly recommended!

The hosts were above and beyond any expectations, I had the impression that I am part of their big family, not just a random client that rents their villa for some time. The villa is pretty fresh and it smells like fresh cut wood, this was definitely a huge plus since I like everything made from wood. Also there are 2 showers/toilets - one closed and one semi opened if you want to see the rice fields when the water is poring down on you. The bedroom has a comfy bed and a terrace with the view on the rice fields, so if you like to have your coffee with a view then you will surely like it here. The villa is not far away from traditional Balinese Warungs (5-10 minutes ride on the motorbike) if you are OK with eating out.

The bed could have been a little bigger. If you are 1.8 m and above you could find this to be a problem. The kitchen is OK if you want to prepare something fast and easy, but if you are into cooking it does not have all the needed kitchen tools you might want.
