There was a fridge and washing machine. Place was tidy and clean enough but could do with improvements for a better stay.

Upon arrival at 7pm, the manager greeted us in and proceeded to tell us that it was under construction and there's no hot water. She said "you'll be alright with no hot water right? There's only warm water. You can boil water in the kettle and use the pots and pans. If you need a bucket let me know." There was a lack of transparency and honesty. We checked and there was only cold water available. We were tired, felt compelled to stay especially as it was raining, we had just come from a long drive and didn't have the luxury of finding another place to stay last minute. The only option we had was to stay there. We had access to WiFi for a few hours. Then after coming back from dinner, we had no internet connection. We had to borrow someone else's phone on the street to call them and ask them why the wifi wasn't working anymore when there was a strong connection. They said they would need to top up the data. The place wasn't as clean as we would have liked. No hand soap, old sponge in the kitchen, and shower had no light so it was relatively dark. As they were still under construction there was no sleep in for us. It was very loud and workers were always outside our room. There was a washing machine but no detergent for us to use. It felt very bare minimum.
