Loved the concept: a beautiful old building with a modern, nicely decorated interior and high ceilings. Beautiful kitchen, and the washing machine was a lifesaver after beach days. Alessio, our host, was super available and really nice too

For a short stay of 2-3 days, the apartment would probably be fine; but for our 10-day stay, the noise became a real issue. It was quite loud from early morning and continued during the night as well. The windows are beautiful, but offer little insulation from noise. Secondly, one thing the host could improve is the shower - the water tends to splash outside the shower area and can flood into the toilet. We had to use towels in front of the shower to manage this. Lastly, it would be handy to have a sharper knife in the kitchen. We didn't find one sharp enough to easily cut things like lemons

The location is good, with short walk to either the train sration or the city center. The apartment is very nice and clean with a stylish finish. The host is very helpful and tries very hard to ensure you have a nice stay.

The apartment is advertised as with breakfast but youml receive a voucher for €2.50 per person to go towards a breakfast at the suma cafe round the corner. This is misleading on the site and as others have commented is not worth having really and only dissapoints as much better places for breakfast with different choices are available. The secure car park is not locked so is open, although they have camera security. If you reserve a space it is sometimes not available as others park there.
