Verdana Jungle Retreat Ubud

Ubud done right!! Wake up to birds and water, walk past green on every side, pool looks straight into the canopy and it stays that calm all day. Staff make it feel less like a check-in and more like turning up at a friend's place. Rooms clean, breakfast solid, beds comfy. The kind of spot that ruins your travel plans cause you don't wanna leave.

Calm and super peaceful. Far enough away from the craziness of the centre but close enough to access quickly

No real complaints

The Location just fine. Right next door to Wyah, less than 2km to Tjampuhan Bridge trekking (aka Bukit Cinta). The budget room is good value but could be noisy due to traffic. Not recommended for the private room, but the dorm is good value at 80k.

Very slow response. When we arrive no one around. Self service check in. No Blanket, No Curtain : it is frosted window/door but the lights from outside still pass through so not comfortable if you would like it dark while sleeping. Chairs broken, only one towel and we booked for two people. Electricity was down, no one show up to fix it. We have to look the main power and fix our self and its happened already before so its not the first time. No proper parking lot as the neighbor or someone else parking in line which is very narrow. The kitchen or Pantry was nothing, only water and fridge, there should be a stove but it is used to store linen/towel; a coffee maker but no instruction on how to use it. room: the light above the wash basin was out (only one dim light in the shower). No lake view, there is a River covers by trees. There is NO Trash bin in the room. Noisy from the Traffic.
