今年の3月にできたばかりのゲストハウスで、部屋のベットやキッチンなど全ての備え付け備品がとても新しく清潔感ありました。 またゲストハウス全体の統一感のある色味にも、好感を持てました。

駅から近くて便利。リノベされた古民家の建物、雰囲気がとても素敵。施設もどれも新しくてきれい。スタッフの対応がとても親切だった。

重い荷物を2階まで持っていくのが大変だったけど、スタッフさんが手伝ってくれて助かりました。

築70年の豆腐屋さんをフルリノベーションした、とても綺麗な宿でした。 寝心地も良かったです。 越後湯沢駅からも徒歩5分以内とアクセス抜群です。 宿はオーナー自身がDIYもしているそうで、手作りの暖かみを感じる空間がとても心地よかったです。 また、１階にはスタンドバーもあり、宿泊者含め地元の人や立ち寄った観光客との交流も盛んに行なわれていました。また、オーナーはとても気さくで陽気な人柄のためお話していてとても楽しかったです。 若手のオーナーは大学院でもゲストハウスの研究を行い、自身の宿をオープンさせたそうです。ただ宿として宿泊場所を提供するのではなく、地元の人と観光客が接点を持つことで地域に様々なシナジーを生みたいという熱い想いを持たれている方でした。 開業に至る経緯もとても興味深いお話でした。訪れた際はぜひ聞いてみて下さい。 ここでしか過ごすことのできない特別な時間が流れていました。 今回は春の訪問でしたが、冬のシーズンにもまた訪れたいです。 A place to raise a glass to people and the town. This beautiful inn was a complete renovation of a 70-year-old tofu shop. The beds were very comfortable. It’s less than a 5-minute walk from Echigo-Yuzawa Station, making it incredibly convenient. I heard the owner did some of the renovations himself, and the space had a warm, handmade feel that made it very comfortable. There’s also a stand-up bar on the first floor, where guests, locals, and passing tourists mingled freely. The owner is very friendly and cheerful, so it was a real pleasure chatting with him. The young owner apparently studied guesthouses in graduate school before opening his own place. He has a passionate vision of creating various synergies for the local community by fostering connections between locals and tourists, rather than simply providing a place to stay. The story of how he came to open the guesthouse was also very interesting. Be sure to ask him about it when you visit. It was a special time that could only be experienced here. I visited in the spring, but I’d love to come back during the winter season as well.
