The house is clean and has three separate rooms, a washer and dryer that are free to use, and a small kitchen set up (but no dishes/cutlery). Each room has its own AC/heater unit and mini fridge. Approximately a 10-15 minute walk from the closest train station. There is also a spot to park one car if you're driving. Downsides are that the stairs to get to the second floor are treacherously steep, the toilet room is so small you have to sit sideways to avoid hitting your knees on the wall, and the whole place smells like damp tatami. I am grateful this place exists as it was the only one available for the dates I was looking to book and it served its purpose well as a budget accommodation.

IMPORTANT NOTE: As of the time I'm writing this, the location that shows up on Google Maps is WRONG. It is NOT the house on the corner, but rather towards the middle of the street. Make sure you look at the photos to see what the outside of the house looks like!!! I received no communication from the property at all about how to check in, which made me nervous. When I got there, though, there was a QR code on the window to scan. Once you fill out the form that the code links you to, you get an automated email that gives you the code for the lock box containing the keys (located in the parcel box next to the front door). No formal check-out procedures were given, so I just left the keys in the lock box on my final day.
